The Performance Learning Center (PLC) recently participated in the United Way’s Day of Caring, held at their annual September 11 commemorative program. The PLC was the the recipient of a Wal-Mart Grant which will provide internships and job shadowing opportunities for qualified students, and is awaiting the results of students’ participation in the Student Achievement Month statewide competition.

CIS of Glynn County awarded the Performace Learning Center $1,500.00 to support their Teacher-Student Advisory Program and $1,500.00 to provide incentives for students taking their Georgia High School Graduation Tests for the first time.
